Our 4th graders recently put on SME's first musical! "Silly Sailors! The Saltiest, Smelliest, Super-Silliest Show on the Seven Seas." We had a blast and they did such a good job! We wanted to give a special shout out Eric Hall with Integrated Installations, who provided our sound system to make sure our kids were heard! We are most grateful to you, Mr. Eric! Thank you!

Guidance with Ms. Faydra and media with Mrs. Norton combined classes to observe Earth Day all week long here at SME. There were scavenger hunts, water pollution simulations, plastic bag bracelets, reuse critters made, earth day watches, and more! What a wonderful way to celebrate our planet!
Ahoy, mates! We would like to invite you to attend our 4th grade musical, "Silly Sailors! The Saltiest, Smelliest, Super-Silliest Show on the Seven Seas!" Featuring the SME Musical Theatre Club and all SME 4th graders! This Thursday, April 30th at 6pm in the SME Gymnasium!
Ms. Hovis's 4th grade class has been learning about careers in Ms. Faydra's guidance class! They researched what they want to be when they grow up and information about their preferred career to present to their classmates!
Today, SME 3rd and 4th graders got a special treat! Rob Gasbarro led a presentation about his incredible Himalayan Expedition! He showed images and brought the equipment he used to make this amazing journey!
We are blessed with a wonderful assistant principal! Mr. Shepherd has been a great addition to our Wildcat family. Thank you for everything you do for SME!

After reading The Good Egg and After the Fall, our librarian, Mrs. Norton, teamed up with our second-grade classes to bring stories to life while connecting to their science unit on life cycles. Students worked in groups to design and build creative ways to protect their eggs during an “egg drop” challenge. While not every egg made it, every group walked away with new learning and lots of smiles!
