If your student wears glasses, please make sure they wear them the week of Oct 5th-9th. In 3rd grade, Mrs. Rogers sent home a “dot” for each parent to write a word of encouragement to their child. Each student also created their own piece of artwork starting with just a dot. For International Dot Day, Mrs. Rogers placed their artwork along with their parent’s “dot of encouragement” on their desk as a little surprise when they came in that morning.
Each student also received their very own copy of The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds to take home. It was such a sweet way to celebrate creativity, confidence, and the reminder that sometimes all it takes is one little dot to make your mark.
