Mr. Toby Pope with the Macon County Community Strings Ensemble visited third grade music classes earlier this year. Third graders learned about the cello and related strings instruments, as part of their orchestra unit. Thank you, Mr. Pope, for sharing your time and knowledge!

Our 4th graders recently put on SME's first musical! "Silly Sailors! The Saltiest, Smelliest, Super-Silliest Show on the Seven Seas." We had a blast and they did such a good job! We wanted to give a special shout out Eric Hall with Integrated Installations, who provided our sound system to make sure our kids were heard! We are most grateful to you, Mr. Eric! Thank you!
